Note changes in VET mapping to reflect updates to the VET packages in the courses. Note also minor variations to content descriptions to refine alignment between A/M and V content.
The Design and Textiles Course has been amended for implementation in 2024 to reflect the change to the new qualification for delivery - MST20722- Certificate II in Apparel, Fashion and Textiles. Elective units in the qualification have been carefully chosen to provide a broader design base and provide for greater links to related textiles industries, including Interior Design. This has been reflected in amendment in some of the unit goals and content descriptions across all four units to ensure the course aligns with contemporary design practices and the inclusion of the new units of competency.
