Certified Copies of Past Results

Results held by the Board
Uncollected Year 12 Certificates, Tertiary Entrance Statements and Vocational Qualifications are returned to the Office of the Board of Senior Secondary Studies by the end of February of the following year.  They are available for collection between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Certificates are only re-issued in exceptional circumstances.  Certified academic transcripts from 1977 onwards are available upon request. 

For copies of NSW Higher School Certificates before 1976 and NSW School Certificates before 1974, contact the NSW Board of Studies, Administration Branch, on Phone (02) 93678111 or

For copies of Year 10 Certificates, contact Educational Performance Section of the ACT Department of Education and Training (Phone (02) 6205 0970).

How to obtain your certificates of academic transcripts
You need to phone the Board secretariat to provide details and arrange a time for the collection of the documents. As your results are your personal affair, the Board must take steps to be satisfied with the identity of the applicant. You will need to provide photo identification before you collect the documents. Your documents will not be made available to a person acting on your behalf (except with your written authorisation), nor will results be given verbally.

Cost
There is a $26 charge for each academic transcript. Uncollected original certificates may be collected free of charge.
